R.E.M. ALERT!!! Okay folks, we just got in the holy grail of R.E.M. records. The FIRST pressing of the indie label Hib-Tone “Radio Free Europe” b/w “Sitting Still” 7″ single (1981). This is the FIRST pressing (without the record company address on the label). Only 500 were pressed for promotional use, before they realized they had forgot to put the contact address on the label. They then pressed a few thousand more of the single with the address on the label. Both versions of the single are rare, but of course this one is exceedingly hard to find. The first copy of the “no address” version we`ve had in 39 years! The sleeve and record are both in beautiful NEAR MINT condition…virtually flawless. Here`s some pics…
